CURRENTLY ON VIEW:

Although I will be writing about Joo Myung Duck’s exhibition Motherland, at the Miyako Yoshinaga Gallery, in the next SEEN column, I would like to encourage readers to see it before it closes on April 18. This is the Korean photographer’s first solo exhibition in the United States and includes 30 gelatin silver prints produced and hand-printed by Joo between 1965 and 2010. Beautiful and soulful. One of my favorites, at left.
